​My Marketing Education Started with a Crazy Greek!

At the tender age of seven, my marketing education began, shaped by the incredible journey of my father, a Greek immigrant with a dream to become successful in his adopted county. In the quaint town of Marquette, Michigan, he opened the very first Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise, a venture that earned him the affectionate nickname " crazy Greek." ​My father understood the power of personal relationships. With my brother, we'd bark on a mission to spread joy, one free box of chicken at a time, to our neighbors. It was a gesture that brought smiles and fostered a sense of community. And when my second-grade class celebrated a birthday, as most students brought in cupcakes or cookies, my father showed up with buckets of finger-licking goodness that left everyone raving! ​
